Editorial piece for the Science News article How big a cybersecurity threat are the latest AI models, really?
Bringing this illustration from initial sketch to final delivery in just 48 hours was an exciting challenge.
The idea was to show security threats as an impending storm, and to visualize the Five Eyes alliance surveillance and their attempt to protect. I wanted to express raw tension: the lit city grid connected to the central overseeing eye, resembling a bright setting sun under the dark horizon.
